These Terms apply to the following Stage Lab services:

The specific date, time, format, duration, schedule, and included features of a purchased service may also be stated on the applicable Stage Lab website page, checkout page, booking page, or purchase confirmation.
Those product-specific details are incorporated into these Terms.
If a separate written agreement signed or electronically accepted by Client expressly conflicts with these Terms regarding a particular service, the separate written agreement controls with respect to that conflict.
2. NATURE OF STAGE LAB SERVICES
Stage Lab provides educational, consulting, organizational, technical, and parent-support services based on practical experience, observations, personal opinions, and general information concerning participation in the entertainment industry.
Depending on the service purchased, Stage Lab may provide educational information, explanations of entertainment-industry terminology and processes, organizational assistance, technical guidance, presentation-related feedback, and parent-to-parent support.
Stage Lab may share how its founder personally approaches or has approached similar situations with her own child.
Information, feedback, and opinions provided by Stage Lab are advisory and educational in nature.
Client remains responsible for determining whether any information, recommendation, or approach is appropriate for Client and Client’s child.
3. PARENT RETAINS DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
Client retains sole and final decision-making authority regarding the child.
Stage Lab does not have authority to bind Client or Client’s child to any employment, representation agreement, contract, audition, submission, project, or other professional opportunity.
Client independently determines which opportunities to pursue, which materials to use, which professionals to hire, and what actions to take on behalf of the child.
4. TECHNICAL AND PRESENTATION FEEDBACK
Where included in the purchased service, Client may voluntarily provide Stage Lab with materials for review, including casting profiles, photographs, headshots, resumes, reels, self-tapes, audition materials, and similar materials.
Stage Lab may provide technical, organizational, and presentation-related feedback concerning matters such as:
- background, lighting, framing, and camera placement;
- sound and recording setup;
- formatting and file naming;
- organization of materials;
- profile completeness;
- presentation of information;
- presentation and selection of photographs; and
- presentation and organization of media.
Stage Lab may express personal opinions regarding which photographs, materials, layouts, or presentation choices Stage Lab’s founder personally prefers or would consider using based on her own experience.
All such feedback is advisory. Client makes all final decisions.
5. SELF-TAPES
Where self-tapes are reviewed or discussed, Stage Lab may provide technical and presentation-related feedback within the scope of the purchased service.
This may include camera setup, framing, lighting, background, sound, recording quality, formatting, file naming, and overall technical presentation.
Stage Lab does not guarantee that any self-tape or other material will result in an audition, callback, booking, employment, representation, or other professional outcome.
6. NO ACTING OR PERFORMANCE COACHING
The services covered by these Terms do not include acting or performance coaching for the child.
Stage Lab does not instruct a child how to perform a scene, interpret a character, deliver lines, portray an emotion, or make acting or artistic performance choices.
Technical or presentation-related feedback regarding a self-tape does not constitute acting or performance instruction.
7. NO TALENT REPRESENTATION OR PROCUREMENT OF EMPLOYMENT
Stage Lab is not engaged by Client as a talent agency or talent management company.
Stage Lab does not represent Client or Client’s child for purposes of obtaining employment.
Stage Lab does not procure, offer, promise, or attempt to procure employment or professional engagements for Client or Client’s child.

8. STAGE LAB MEMBERSHIP - $249/MONTH
Stage Lab Membership is a monthly parent consulting and support service.
The Membership fee is $249 per month.
Membership includes the services described in the applicable Membership offer and may include:
- one 30-minute consultation during each monthly billing period;
- reasonable questions and communication as available;
- educational and organizational support; and
- technical and presentation-related review of materials voluntarily provided by Client.
Membership does not include unlimited access, 24-hour availability, emergency support, guaranteed response times, or guaranteed review before an audition, casting, submission, or other deadline.
Membership is billed monthly and automatically renews for successive monthly billing periods until cancelled.
Automatic renewal applies only to separately purchased recurring Membership subscriptions, not to the complimentary month of Membership included with CastLab Sprint.
By purchasing Membership and accepting these Terms, Client authorizes recurring charges of $249 per month.
Client may cancel future renewal using the cancellation method made available by Stage Lab.
Cancellation stops future recurring charges in accordance with applicable law. Cancellation does not retroactively cancel a billing period for which payment has already been processed, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
The $249 monthly price will not be increased for an active Membership without Client’s agreement.
9. CASTLAB SPRINT - $549
CastLab Sprint is a structured Stage Lab program offered for a one-time fee of $549.
The $549 CastLab Sprint purchase includes one month of Stage Lab Membership, normally $249 per month, at no additional charge as part of the CastLab Sprint package.
The included month of Membership is part of the CastLab Sprint purchase and does not create an additional $249 charge.
The one-month Stage Lab Membership included with CastLab Sprint automatically expires at the end of the included month and does not renew automatically. No recurring subscription or recurring payment authorization is created by purchasing CastLab Sprint. Clients who wish to continue Membership after the included period must separately request and authorize a new Membership purchase. The automatic renewal provisions applicable to standalone Stage Lab Membership purchases do not apply to the Membership month included with CastLab Sprint.

- technical self-tape setup and presentation;
- organization and formatting of materials;
- casting-platform functionality and terminology;

- educational demonstrations concerning platform and submission processes.
Stage Lab may demonstrate processes using examples from the founder’s own experience, including examples involving her own child.

Any demonstration of a casting platform, profile, submission process, self-tape setup, or similar process is provided for educational purposes.

Stage Lab does not guarantee any specific professional result.
Stage Lab does not guarantee auditions, callbacks, bookings, employment, representation by an agent or manager, income, career advancement, acceptance onto any casting platform, or any other professional outcome.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict any consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.
For Stage Lab Membership, Client may cancel future recurring billing using the cancellation method provided by Stage Lab. Cancellation applies to future renewals and does not automatically create a refund for a billing period already charged, except where required by applicable law.
For Strategy Sessions, Ready to Cast, CastLab Sprint, or any scheduled component of a purchased service, Client should notify Stage Lab as soon as possible if Client is unable to attend.
Rescheduling is subject to Stage Lab’s availability and any rescheduling conditions disclosed for the applicable service.

If applicable law provides Client with a greater cancellation, refund, or rescission right than stated in these Terms, applicable law controls.
17. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
Certain Stage Lab services may involve discussion or use of third-party casting or entertainment-industry platforms.

Stage Lab is not responsible for account suspension, termination, technical outages, policy changes, or other actions taken by a third-party platform.

Any such promotional use will be subject to any separate consent required by applicable law.
20. CLIENT MATERIALS AND PRIVACY
Client may voluntarily provide Stage Lab with photographs, videos, self-tapes, resumes, profiles, screenshots, documents, and other information or materials necessary for Stage Lab to provide the purchased service.

Client should retain a copy of these Terms for Client’s records.
29. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Stage Lab may update these Terms prospectively.
Changes will not retroactively alter material terms of a completed one-time purchase unless Client agrees or applicable law permits or requires the change.
For an ongoing Membership, Stage Lab will provide any notice of material changes required by applicable law.
The version of these Terms in effect when Client purchases a one-time service generally governs that purchase unless otherwise required by law.
